It was clear that Shawn was back to his old self. He was eating and acting like normal. There was not even the slightest hint of nausea. I am very relieved.
I don't know what was up yesterday, but I am sure glad that it is over. I hope that whatever it was doesn't return.
We got home late from the hospital, so Jason and Jack spent the night at my mom's. Shawn asked a few times where they were, but honestly, I think he kind of liked the extra attention he got from mommy and daddy. Jason, on the other hand, asked about Shawn frequently.
Poor guy. He clearly missed him and us.
I went to go pick up the J's at my mom's at around noon. They have been pretty inseparable since they were reunited. It was incredibly sweet to hear both the big boys in Shawn's bed during quiet time. Granted, there wasn't much "quiet" happening, but I couldn't get in the way of them being together.
Jason also perked up once he was here. He did tell me, though, that he was feeling left out. He had to jump on my lap for some snuggle time after that.
I think this bit of separation made the boys realize that even though they fight, they really do love each other. :-)
Any bets as to how long that realization will last? Lol.
