Christmas Morning
Santa actually found us while we were gone! We didn't realize that Santa had come at first, but we were so excited to see he actually came to the hotel!
Santa brought the boys stockings filled with all kinds of goodies, and they each got a gift, too. Shawn got some Pixar Cars truck haulers; Jason got a RC Ballistik Racer (remote control car); and Jack got a soccer net and ball.
After we opened our stockings, we headed off to Goofy's Kitchen for Christmas breakfast.

Friday Five
We had a fantastic time on our trip to Disneyland this week. We left on the 23rd and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel through the 26th. We came back home after one last visit to the park that day.
Despite many warnings that we would likely experience major crowding while we were gone, surprisingly, the crowds weren't really all that bad. The 23rd and 24th were actually pretty quiet as far as Disneyland crowding goes. Even on the days with the biggest crowds, it was really no different than it has been on the "off" season days we've gone. We were pleasantly surprised!

We also had a chuckle that the day after we came home, Disneyland had some power outages and had to close a number of rides. While we have not heard officially, I like to think it was because Disneyland misses us a little and fell apart when we left. ;)

We had such a good time on our trip, that we are still, some three days later, going through a post vacation hangover period. We've had long, lazy days in our pajamas and have hung out around the house. It's been quite pleasant for sure!

The boys' favorite parts about our Disney trip? Shawn liked talking to the characters, especially Goofy and Max. Jason really enjoyed rides and when it snowed on us at the fireworks show. (It was pretty cool!) Jack enjoyed the rides. All the rides. LOL

This is my last full week of vacation, as I go back to work on the 2nd. I am SO not looking forward to having to be up and moving so early in the morning. lol. The boys still have another week of vacation left to go. I'm a tiny bit jealous. Okay. A lot bit jealous.

Disneyland Christmas
This Christmas, we decided to do something a little different. We packed up the boys and headed to Disneyland for Christmas Eve and Day. We all had a fantastic time, too. We just got back this evening. More tomorrow after we’ve all had a good night’s rest in our own beds. :)
