Cute Big Boy Saturday - Jack Lost

Jack fell off the couch and got beat up by the storage cubes next to it. I know it hurt pretty badly, too. Poor guy. He got his knee while he was at it.

Thankfully it looks much worse than it is.

Seven!

Happy Birthday, Jack!

Jack has had such a good time this week. He went to the circus yesterday and was celebrated today. He had so much fun, he told us tonight before bed that he was pretty sure it was his birthday tomorrow, too. Ha! Love this kid!

The Last of 6

He let me take this picture of him before he headed off to bed. It's our last picture of 6 year old Jack. Tonight, when we tucked our boy in bed, we kissed the year of 6 goodbye.

It’s been such a good year for our boy. He's become such a character, full of adventure and humor. He gives the best snuggles and kisses in one moment...in the next, he's off to wrestle with his brothers or find some sort of mischief. 💜

Tomorrow, he wakes up a 7 year old. Our baby is growing up so fast.

May the year of 7 bring our sweet boy all the joy of six and much, much more!

Waaaaaaaay Back Wednesday

Two more sleeps until our littlest turns the big SEVEN! Tonight is a night of reminiscing...

She Came

The Tooth Fairy came today! She was a little late. Apparently, Jason pulled his tooth out earlier than expected. The Tooth Fairy didn't have Jason on her schedule until April 10th! By the time she realized he was ahead of schedule, it was too late for her to drop by.

But when she got here, she did not disappoint! Look at this cool certificate she left Jay!

I've tried to tell Jason there is a surcharge he owes his parents -- we have been providing all of his toothbrushes and toothpaste which has allowed him to care for his teeth, after all -- but Jay didn't think that he should have to share. lol

Yesterday, Jason lost his 20th tooth! He says that it was his last baby tooth to lose. How can that be?! lol. It seems so crazy to me.

I keep telling him to slow down a little and stop hurrying to grow up. Not sure he's listening to me, though. 💙

We're all so glad that spring break (for the boys) brought sunny skies. It has been a while. While it is still a bit cool for our tastes, it was nice to hang outside for a chance.

Friday Five

We got a surprise this week when we discovered that the boys' spring break did not start on the 30th like we thought, but instead starts today. LOL. It was a good thing we found that out, or we would have just sent the poor guys to school come Monday!

Now, I am jealous because I am not yet out for spring break. Le sigh.

Can you believe that our not so little guy will turn the big 7 next week?! It is mind boggling!

This is the first year he has really been anticipating his birthday with a countdown and the whole deal. He is going to have a blast!

It would not be a break if a child or three wasn't sick. Just like clockwork, Jason crawled into bed with us early yesterday morning saying he didn't feel good. He was burning up. It was raining really hard yesterday, so we just kept the whole crew home from school. It was a good thing as the other two developed whatever crud this is as the day went on. Sigh. They are all congested and sound clogged, but they are at least up and around today.

Jack is still talking about our trip to Disneyland. He loved, loved, LOVED the Tiki Room show. He found a video of the Tiki Room performance on YouTube. He has since proceeded to decorate our living room into a home version of the Tiki Room.

I am anxiously awaiting this year's spring pictures. The boys took pictures last Monday, and I am always dying to get to the point of finally seeing them. lol. Clearly I have no patience for things like this!

Perseverance!

This afternoon Jack received a Challenger award for Perseverance. His teacher said that he continues to try and do all that she wants him to do! Way to go, Jack! We're very proud of you!

He was SO excited. He kept saying, "I won! I won!" lol

Mr. Jack is still quite pleased with himself. lol

Awesome job!
