Sunset

We went for a drive to the beach to see the sunset. We truly live in such a beautiful place. Jason snapped a picture of our amazing view.

Handprint Day!

We fell into this tradition by accident, but once I realized it could be a thing, I made it one. Every year on this date, I make the boys stamp their hand prints on paper.

We started it in 2011 - Jack's first year on Earth. He was not quite 6 months old. The big boys were nearing 4.

They were all so tiny then.

They keep getting bigger, these boys.

And super strong!

And super, super strong!

These man boys are getting so big. Their hands larger than mine.

My hand on the right, Jason's hand on the left in 2020.

This year, the dynamic duos' hands are similar in size and Jack's are nearing my size now. It won't be long now.

Jason's hand to mine a la 2021.
I told him he could stop growing now...he rolled his eyes at me.

Their hand prints are such a visual representation of how much they've changed, a tangible way of seeing the passage of time when sometimes it's so hard to grasp in day to day living of life.
These hand prints tell the tale. Our boys are not so little anymore.

Glimpse

Every now and then I get a glimpse of the adult they’ll become in a few short years. It catches my breath and stops me in my tracks. This picture did it to me today. He’s growing up.

Don't Touch Him!

This kid...

He's showing me the train Elfie brought us. He thought it was hilarious to threaten to touch the elf. LOL

When Mom and Dad Find a Lonely Scooter...

We did the only thing that could be done. We rode on it! (And thankfully made it off without killing ourselves, too!)

Cruising in style. Easy peasy!

Look at me! I'm even showing off! lol
Channeling my inner Wicked Witch of the West with this look!

My Snuggler

He's like his mama in that he loves his bed. LOL. He also loves to make me come snuggle with him.

Can't beat snuggles with this kid!

Brotherly Love

These two are the best of buds or are driving each other up the wall. There doesn't seem to be an in-between.

This picture, though, sums up how they really feel about each other. ❤️

It's funny how they fill the chair up with their bodies now. They're getting so big!
