I asked him to eat a half inch sliver of string cheese, which apparently was interpreted by him as a desire on my part to poison him. Sigh.

He told us he was hungry. Apparently we didn't move fast enough to alleviate that problem. He took matters into his own hands and made himself some lunch.

He's quite pleased with himself, too. lol

Star of the Week

This week, Jack gets to be his class's Star of the Week. We got to make a poster for him to take and share with his class - he picked the pictures to share. (He is definitely particular. Sheesh.)

He also filled out a questionnaire:

I am 5 years old. (Talked him out of saying he is 95 years old. He insists he is.)
My favorite color is rainbow.
My favorite thing to eat is popsicles.
My favorite television show is Veggie Tales. (This one was interesting to me. I don't know where he learned about Veggie Tales. I have never seen that show!)
My favorite book is Little Kitty Big City. (Not sure what this book is. I'd say his favorite book is one of the Little Blue Truck books, but what do I know?)
My favorite song is Theme Song.
I am good at playing with Jason.
When I grow up, I want to be a bumble bee.

Brussels Sprouts

He has been begging for Brussels sprouts for the longest time. Today, he finally got some. He was so happy! Lol

He tried several bites, although he didn't eat a lot. He said it tastes like calliflower. Lol!

Leave my phone unattended for just a few moments, and I come back to some selfies. lol
