Happy Easter!

We all had so much fun this Easter!

They loved their books, matchbox cars, and Octonauts toys the Easter Bunny left. Shawn was pretty excited about his chocolate eggs, too. (Jason and Jack - not so much. lol)

It was raining outside, so we had an indoor Easter egg hunt with the basket of eggs the Easter Bunny left. The boys were surprised to find that the Easter Bunny had filled the eggs with candy, stickers, money!, and even gave them a note that let them pick out a game for their LeapPads.

Jack focused all of his energy on two eggs, which he
promptly destroyed with his teeth. Ha! He's loving his yellow egg here.
 

Shawn loved opening his eggs to see what was inside.

 After a short nap, we headed over to Grandma's house for Easter dinner.

We headed home and the boys fell quickly to sleep. That gave mommy and daddy a chance to finally have some quiet time ourselves.

All in all, this was a pretty fantastic day (and weekend!) for Team Lopez. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jack!

Jack is so much fun! Our little Tank:

• Is 37 inches tall and weighs 29 pounds.
• Chews on everything.
• Loves to snuggle with mommy and daddy.
• Is into everything.
• Would eat waffles and fruit every day, all day.
• Loves his books.
• Has a thing for being naked. :)
• Loves the story of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. He likes to huff and puff and blow their houses down.
• Counts to four.
• Plays with blocks, dinosaurs, and cars.
• Likes to dump all of his toys on the floor. (He's finally starting to clean things back up when he's done.)
• Wants to do whatever his brothers are doing.
• Likes to flop on the big boys' beds.
• Loves to smile and laughs often.
• Climbs on whatever he can.
• Stops almost anything to watch Peppa Pig and will hold his Peppa Pig toys while he watches.
• Loves it when we chase him.
• Thinks he's taken over his daddy's chair.
• Sings "Oh ee oh ee oh ee oh" when he hears the "Scream and Shout" song by Brittney Spears and Will-I-Am.
• Wears a 3T shirt and size 4T-5T socks. His shoe is size 8. His pants size is 24 months.
• Thinks sitting on the potty is fun.
• Runs to the bathtub on bath night.
• Gets mad when we tell him "no."
• Loves himself a good nap so he can stay up late.
• Is such a joy to be around.

Happy Birthday, Jack! We are so glad you're ours!

Almost Two!

In just under two hours, our little big guy will be TWO! We're so glad he's ours!

His First Art Project

Jack tried his hand at an art project today. He is pretty darn good, if I do say so myself!

I Want an Easter Egg...I Just Don't Want to Eat It.

This weekend, the boys finally got to color Easter eggs.

Two Years Ago

Two years ago, I turned 38 weeks pregnant on this day.

Awwwwww...

In just a few short days, the littlest will be turning two years old. When I tell you that I can hardly believe it, I am not kidding. It just doesn't seem possible.
