Friday Five
This week seemed to fly by in a blink! One week of break left for me; two weeks of break left for the boys. (I'm jealous!)

The boys got to go to Target today to spend some gift card money. Shawn managed to find a Pixar car he didn't yet have and a boxed Matchbox car (a new selection!). Jason bought some cars for his collection and some Pokemon cards. Jack managed to find two stuffed Lion King characters to add to his collection. Scores all around!

Shawn has requested that we go bike riding this break. Hopefully we'll get the chance. The weather is supposed to be rainy on Monday, but we may get the chance later on during the week.
Speaking of rain, Christmas Day's rain brought snow in all of our local mountains. It is SO pretty!

The boys continue to play with their new Christmas goodies. Top gifts have been the skates for Jack; Mario Party Switch game for Jason; and the paintings for Shawn. :) They all got art kits this year, but they've yet to use them. I'm hoping we can do an art day this week to get them started.

We are in that "between" time of still feeling the Christmas haze and excitement while simultaneously waiting for us to return to our normal. (Or maybe I'm the only one wanting to get back to normal? lol) The boys are a little sad that things are slowly being cleaned up and returning to our non Christmas state. They don't want to see all of this go for another year!

Christmas!
Christmas fun, 2019...
The boys said goodbye to Elfie on Christmas Eve. Elfie gets special permission from Santa so he can be held. Jack and Shawn loved on Elfie for a bit.
Santa brought the boys presents and filled their stockings.
