Shawn and his dad put his tools to good use today and built a helicopter!

Christmas Trees

Jack and I were fascinated by these really cool trees!

Jack and I opened our magic trees and set them up. 
It says it takes them 12 hours to "grow"

It was so cool! The greenery on the tree was soft fluff. We did find that it liked to "shed" its greenery throughout the day, so that was a tiny bit sad, but we both still thought it was cool. Jack gave it 5 stars!

The Last of the Elf Antics

With the arrival of Christmas, it was time to say goodbye to our favorite elf, Elfie. His last day with us was on the 24th, but that day is always special around these parts. It is on that day, that the boys are able to love and hug on Elfie. The spent plenty of time doing just that, which was pretty sweet.

Elfie also brought the boys one last gift...a snowball fight!

We had so much fun throwing snowballs at each other, too! 

Our Christmas Celebration 2020 Style

We had a lovely and quiet Christmas this year. As Jack put it, it was "Our best Christmas ever!" Can't beat that! :)

Before bed, Jack was sure to leave out some milk, carrots and cookies for Santa and the reindeer. He picked the cookies out himself!

His favorite cookie was the star - he made it himself.
It was the first on the plate! He also decorated the snowman
and gingerbread man. :)

Here are some highlights from our day...

Then they gave each other the presents they picked out for each other. 

Dad and mom decided this year we were going to space things out a bit. They got to pick a few presents to open, then we'd take a little break to play. We would decide on a time to come back to the tree to open another group of presents. It was so fun! Present opening lasted almost the entire afternoon and kept the excitement going!

We rounded the day off with a nice Christmas dinner and watching Christmas movies. It was so much fun!
