Jason's Day

The day Jason's been waiting for since his brother's day finally arrived. Today we celebrated Jason's Homecoming Day!

He woke up to his own celebratory sign, complete with balloons!

He woke up at 3 am to go to the bathroom. He
saw his balloons then and had trouble going back to sleep. lol

"Look at my sign!" He read it to me several times.
Jason did his day in style. He took complete control over the television shows they watched. He played with daddy. He indulged me when I told him the rule was that mommy gets to snuggle you whenever she wants on your Homecoming Day. ;-)

Jason got to go with daddy to order his favorite dinner. He was so excited to have his cheesy potato burrito (which is really just potatoes with sour creme and no cheese on them) from Taco Bell!

Yummy!
And yes, that is a slice of cheese on his plate.
I don't even try to understand these kinds of things anymore.

Chowing down at dinner

After dinner, Jason got to blow out a candle on his cake. He specifically requested a chocolate cake with a "tart" on top. Shawn led the singing of  "Happy Homecoming Day" before he blew out his candle.

A few blueberries and bananas and you've got yourself
a "tart" cake.

Blowing out his candle!

Then he got to the most anticipated part of the evening...opening his presents!

An App card for his LeapPad

Opening up the big box...

Cool! Race cars!

It's a Tom and Jerry video!

We topped the evening with some of his delicious cake (even Jack had a few bites!) and playing with new toys.

This was just how I wanted it, mom.

He's having a race here. #99 won the race!

Picking out and downloading new Apps.
The hat was brought to me by Jack. He insisted.
Jason thoroughly enjoyed his Homecoming Day. It was so much fun!

And I thoroughly enjoyed reading about his homecoming day! His happy face says it all in the pictures. The look on his face looks like one of pure joy. I love it!
