Kidbits: Our Life in a Series of Face Book Updates... Part 15

Shawn just asked if I wanted a piece of him. I even made him repeat it to make sure I heard correctly. Um, I'm not sure where he learned that one, but it cracked me up anyway!

Jack had another splash in the toilet his evening. (What is with this kid and his fascination with the toilet?!!?) Let's just say someone had forgotten to flush and Isaac was the one who found him playing in it. Isaac just about died. Died! Picture him holding my poor, dripping boy out at arms length, calling for me to come do something. Lol.

I think it will be a long time before Isaac recovers from the experience. He's still grossed out--maybe even scarred for life, and yet I can't stop laughing. ;)

And yes, Jack is okay, and no he didn't ingest anything as far as we can tell.

Got the bright idea to inflate the boys' pool. All I have is a hand pump, and... I've been at it for over an hour and still nowhere near done. I hereby declare this idea as "stupid."

Just found Jack playing in the toilet. I just know my somewhat germaphobe husband is going to love hearing that. I think I'll leave out the part about him putting his hand in the water and licking it... (shudder)

Got to admit that's pretty high on the EW meter, though.

So Shawn has decided I am a tiger while Isaac is a zebra. Do you suppose that means something, or am I reading too much into it? lol

So. I learned 2 things today. 1) the boys are not fans of fire alarms, and 2) it is not wise to leave the car keys within a boy's reach when he is IN the car and I am not. Ahem.

Found out both the hard way. Story to come soon. (we're all fine :) )

Check. Check. Check. Keep marking things off my list. Now if the little hurricanes in the family would stop coming around behind me and messing up my cleaned house I'd be set!

Our BIG one is the BIG 1!!!! Happy Birthday, Jack!

We now know that Shawn's head only fits half way under his bed before it gets stuck. Don't ask HOW we learned this fact...just accept that we now know it. Sigh.

March 23, 2012 - Parents of Preemies Day! :-)
Today, I am recognizing the courage and commitment it takes to stay strong and resilient when premature birth turns a family's world upside down.
Happy Parents of Preemies Day!
