Project Biography

Jack's in third grade this year. His teacher gives a lot of work (parents think maybe too much work), but Jack seems to be keeping up and handling it well enough.

This month, his teacher gave the class a project - to research someone in history and write a biography about it. He has to write at least a one page report and either create a book or a poster board about his person. He also has to create a timeline of this person's life.

First...um, it's third grade. Second, we have some time to work on this (due November 4), but still, it's third grade. See above note on parents' thoughts. Cough. Cough.

Anyway, I pulled a bunch of biographies from my school's library and brought them home for Jack to choose his topic from. He ultimately went with George Washington.

Next up is some reading and researching. I created a sheet for him to work on so he can be sure to get all of the necessary information.
