Happy Fourth of July!

Happy 4th of July, everyone! We had a fun day here at Casa Lopez!

Daddy started the day off fun with a yummy red, white, and blue breakfast of champions!

Why yes they are marshmallows and red M&Ms here.
That's been balanced by the blueberries. ;)

Grandma came over in the afternoon!

She wore a necklace that was a hit with the boys. They all had it on at one point or another tonight. Here's Jack's turn...

Daddy pulled out the balloons for some balloon animal fun. Shawn really had a blast making animals!

He got right to work making a balloon dog.

It ended up more like a balloon snake, but whatever.
It was still fun!

Jason and I decided to have a sword fight. I may have won when his
was stolen by an invading army...

Army ... otherwise known as Jack. They're sort of the same, you know.
Both are great at combat and search and destroy missions. ;)

Daddy had a great time making loads of balloons.

Even grandma got into the action!

We even went out to the front yard to watch the fireworks. While the boys didn't really care about watching all of the fireworks, this was the first year that no one had problems with the loud noises. That is pretty HUGE! Maybe next year they'll be ready to head out to one of the local fireworks displays.

It was a fun day all around!
