When I saw this on Facebook, I could immediately relate.
There are days when I have picked up the house a dozen times, but it still looks like this at the end of the day.
Except in our case, it isn't the twins who bring the house down. No, in our house it's the singleton who is the force of destruction. Give Jack an unsupervised minute (I'm telling you, a minute is all it takes with this whirlwind!), and my nice, organized house looks like this:
Sigh.
You can see that this can lead to a never ending cycle of straightening and redirecting the Tank to something else until...well, until we find ourselves just looking beyond the mess and focusing on the fun.
So yes, the good cleaning happens in the ten minutes before I know someone is coming!
