My Little Helpers

Ah, with spring break comes spring cleaning! I am happy to finally get a few moments (with a little energy) to really clean the house. Let's just say that it has been a while since it has been thoroughly cleaned...

Anyway, yesterday and today were spent trying to catch up with the ever present laundry. Thankfully, I have the Everly Brothers (the washer and dryer--what? you guys don't name your appliances?) to help out. I am also lucky enough to have two built in helpers in Shawn and Jason. My little guys make it their mission to help me any way they can, and let me just tell you that they can be quite driven when they set their minds on something.

Now I've already told you of their love of the laundry basket, but I have since learned that this love of laundry extends beyond the clothing receptacle and onto the clothing itself.

The boys love playing in laundry. It doesn't matter if it's clean or dirty, either. If it is dirty, they can't wait to climb over a pile of clothes and bury themselves in it. They'll argue over shirts and try to pull clothing out of each other's hands in an effort to cover only themselves and not their brother. If the laundry happens to be clean and folded, the best thing in the world is to help me unfold every single thing they can get their hands on and fling clothing across the room. (they especially love the flinging stuff across the room part) This also applies to clothing in their dresser if I happen to leave one of the drawers open.

These two little games could entertain them for hours on end if I'd let them go that long.

It's a good thing it is pretty funny to watch, or I'd be going crazy from all the help. Laundry definitely takes a lot longer this way than it would otherwise!

It sure is worth all the extra work. :-)

What good little helpers you have. Sure they want to help now but wait until YOU want them to help and it's a different story:-)
As always they are adorable.
