Daddy Moment #3
For anyone who has ever looked into their own smiling baby's eyes and caught themselves in this surreal moment, I hope that I do it justice.
I believe that there is an energy inside of everyone. An energy that can be felt by others. It can figuratively and quite literally and physiologically light you up inside. There are moments when each of my boys look up at me without any prompting or hope of reward and simply smile.
That split moment seems to be instant and at the same time infinite. I find myself taking a serenely deep breath that fills my chest like a sail and brightens the light inside of me to a peaceful radiant glow.
I do my best to hold on to these moments as they pass. I'm sure they will come in handy during the teenage years.

They are truly lucky to have
two parents who love and care for
them as much as you two do I think
that god gave you the children
that picked you as their parents
you both deserve so much and I am
happy that you guys got twice the
love/smiles/joy/ and happiness
you dont have to be a genious to
see how much they are loved and
I see it all the time that you guys
feel so lucky to have them
Okay - can you just picture rivers of water just rolling down my face? WOW, Isaac!! Not only do you write incredibly well but the detail with which you describe your feelings for your boys is absolutely amazing! You are an awesome father and you two are an awesome team as parents! You have had and triumphantly conquered opportunities that most fathers don't get and for what it's worth, I am very proud of you! Great job, keep up the good work!
