Friday Five

The boys had a great week this week. It helped, though, that all of their classes were wrapping up the quarter and not giving much work. lol. I think it was more of a mindset the boys had than anything else, but I can't convince them of that. Oh well. We enjoyed it nonetheless!

As far as grades go, the boys are all still doing well. I even think everyone has all of their assignments in! (For those of us in the online learning business, we know that is a pretty awesome task. lol) Shawn is reading The Outsiders with his class, so that has been fun. Jason is reading I Am Malala, which has been interesting, too. Jack has been learning about earthquakes and natural disasters.

Shawn's new treat of the week is to go outside and play with the drill. He is definitely my son. ;)

We're all excited because there are quite a few breaks built into the month of November. Next week we'll all have off for Veteran's Day. Then, we all get the entire week off for Thanksgiving. Yay!

Some time off is actually really needed around these parts, I think. For the first time in forever, no one has been sick or taken a day off (despite wanting to!), so everyone has been to class every day this quarter. We're quite proud of that!

Lastly, I just want to memorialize this week in history. We've been watching the news coverage of the 2020 Presidential Election, and we're hoping that the country sided with our view of who the president should be. It's looking pretty good, too! Fingers crossed!!
