Speaking of swimming, the boys are getting quite the tans! I'm impressed with how dark they are getting, especially in light of the fact that we wait until the pool is in the shade before we head out to actually swim, and they're not getting much direct sunlight exposure!
| Shawn-left; Jason-middle; Jack-right It cracks me up that the hospital was so SURE the boys were identical back in the day. This is yet another example of how different they are! lol! |

The county fair is in town. It's always been our tradition to head to the fair to hang out for a while. This year, the boys each won themselves 3 ride tickets through a reading program the fair offers, and we can't wait to use those. We only have one full week of vacation left, so the fair is definitely high on the list of something we'll do. Yay!

I asked the boys what they'd like to do on this last week of vacation. Jason wants to 1) have a water fight, 2) extract strawberry DNA, and 3) go to the fair. Jack wants to go to Legoland again. lol. He didn't have another option when I told him we'd already done that. Shawn wants to also have a water fight and swim. I think we can cover all of that!

Jack has all of a sudden got an independent streak. He has now taken it upon himself to make lunch (and dinner) several times because I have not moved fast enough for his liking. lol. I'm okay with that for the most part, but I do fear that he's going to eat us out of house and home if I let him just go at the kitchen.
I measured him the other day. He is currently 4' 3''. Apparently he's on a trajectory to reach an adult height of 6' 4.3"! Yikes!
Jason is 4' 9.5" (he may be a bit taller than this). He is on a trajectory to reach approximately 6' 3.4"!
Shawn was a little harder to measure standing up, but we did it anyway. (Take the height measurement as an approximation; he could actually be longer than what we got.) He also measured 4' 3" tall. He is projected to be about 5' 9" (my height) when he is an adult.
We've got some BIG boys on our hands!
