Jason has been interested in the election, so I suggested he come with me to vote. He was so excited!
He marched right into our local library with me and proudly declared to the election official that he was here to vote.
We couldn't have made the experience more perfect for him either. We were able to sit together at a small table and go through the entire ballot together. (He read up on how to actually vote while we were waiting in line. He was very happy to explain it all to me when we sat down. 😜) He definitely has his opinions on things. (Apparently he is not a fan of legalizing marijuana. Who knew? Lol) It was fun for both of us.
As we were leaving, he declared that he'd be coming to all the voting events until he's able to vote for himself.
He's currently watching the news coverage on the election, dying over the nail-biting results like so many of us. And he's loving every minute of it.
Who am I kidding? I am, too. ;)
