One of Shawn's favorite songs is the "If I Didn't Have You" from Monsters Inc. Recently, he's decided singing in English isn't in vogue. No, now the boy has moved to singing the song in Spanish and French.

Jason has a bit of a dramatic flair. This evening when I was chasing him around, he fell on his knees. "Mom, did you see that? I just fell on my knees like a boy at his mom's funeral!"
Lol. The teacher in me is applauding the great use of simile, but the mom in me is all what?!

I had a meeting with the boys' teacher this week. The teacher said Shawn is definitely the stronger of the two in math, while Jay is definitely the stronger of the two in reading. I just love hearing that both boys have their own unique strengths!

Jack's second tooth is loose, although it still has a ways to go before it is ready to be pulled. Trying to convince Jack of that, however, has proven to be difficult. He wants that sucker out. Now!
Any bets as to whether he'll get it out before his birthday? He has 12 days to go...

I think Jack has a hollow leg. I seriously can't understand how he can eat as much as he does. It is insane. He's even gone so far as to wake us up at 4 am one night because he wanted food, and despite my best efforts, he would not be swayed from his mission. Sigh. What is this kid going to be like when he's a teenager? I'm really worried. :)
