We've got twelve days till Christmas,
so you all get to see...
The return of our little Elfie.
Elfie gave the boys a note that first day:

Hi! I had so much fun at
your house last year, that I decided to come back again this year!
Just
like last year, I'll fly to the North Pole every night while you're sleeping
and report to Santa all of the nice things you are doing. I'll also help Santa
make the naughty and nice list, so it's important you're on your best behavior!
I'm
sure you'll be put on the nice list again this year. To be sure you make it on
the nice list, you must remember to be kind and loving to everyone. Being nice,
sharing, listening, and helping your mommy and daddy are all great ways to make
it on the nice list!
Be gentle with me. Although
I am a magic elf, I am not a toy. You can talk to me (I am a great listener)
but you must try not to touch me. Too much touching can make me lose my magic!
I'll come to visit you as
often as I can because I love seeing how much fun you all have together. I
remember last year that you made a lot of crafts. I took all of those ideas
back to the other elves and taught them how to do them, too.

P.S. The other elves at
the North Pole Workshop Toy Station are all very busy making toys for nice
girls and boys, but they wanted me to remind you to write a letter for Santa.
You have been great kids this year and the elves very much want to get you
something on your lists. Please remember, though, that it takes them a long
time to make all the gifts for every kid, and some are harder to do than
others. So jet packs and TVs are just too much work, while ponies and puppies
move around too much in the sleigh. (Plus they really spook the reindeer!)
Besides, I don't think your cat, Gracie, would like a puppy too much.
