how to get to Sesame Street?

Never mind. We found it on our own!

Today, we took the boys to go see Sesame Street Live!

Checking out the souvenirs!

Walking down Sesame Street like he does it every day...

 Our seats were in the balcony. It was nice and not at all crowded, just the way we like it!

Jason was excited while he waited for it to start.

The balcony seats were great, but we did run into a little snafu. Um, we forgot that one of us is pretty afraid of heights. He just about freaked when he saw how high we were. lol. We spent the first half of the show like this to make sure he felt safe.

 

That's my leg over his lap. He then held on for dear life!
Thankfully, he felt much more secure for the second act. :)

 

Once the show started, the boys behaved beautifully and sat in awe...

 There was a brief intermission. The boys found ways to amuse themselves.

We watched more Sesame Street on daddy's phone

 

We hung out for a bit

 The show started up for the second half, and once again it had their full attention.

He did climb onto my lap for a bit, though. :)

The final number

After the show, Jack decided to take the stairs down to the first floor.

 

There were more stairs than I realized. He had fun. Me? Not so much.

 

 We made one last stop at the souvenirs booth and got the boys a little something.

Jason got an Elmo plushie.

We had a great time; it was so much better than I anticipated, too. :) Jason's already talking about going back again.

"Only next time, mommy, can we sit way down there on the floor?" LOL.
