Confusion

It seems this new round of sickness has thoroughly confused my kids. Perhaps they are suffering from a bit of delirium? I don't know, but all of a sudden, they can't seem to remember how things are supposed to be used.

Take Shawn for instance:

Shawn, that pail doesn't go on your head!

I'm pretty sure that Shawn's aware that a pail is for putting stuff in, and by stuff I don't mean your head. Yet, here he is trying his darnedest to prove me wrong.

And then there's Jack:

He saw his brother attempting to wear the pail, so he just had to try it himself...

Jack, didn't you just hear me tell Shawn that a pail doesn't
go on your head?!
Silly boy. I told him it wouldn't fit!

Then he thought he was going to give reading another go. He was even more confused about that idea.

Oh, Jack! You don't read books with your teeth!

He tried his hardest to prove me wrong, too.

Lastly, there is Jason:

He's confused on the proper way to use a paper plate. Jason thinks the perfect use for a paper plate is to finger paint on it.

Here he painted a rainbow. :-)

And this, my friends, is a race track. lol
(see? there's a red car in first, blue car in second, and a yellow car in third)

I hope the confusion passes quickly. At this rate, who knows what I am going to find them trying to do next!

I hope they feel better soon! I like the finger painting on paper plates! I could totally tell it was a rainbow and a racetrack with cars! =)
