While he was on the pot, Jason began playing with the two firetrucks--a white one and a yellow one--he had brought with him. For a bit he had the two trucks driving around covering the various fires he imagined around the bathroom, but then he decided it was time for the trucks to go back home to rest.
"The mommy truck is tired. It needs to go back home to go to sleep." He grabbed the yellow truck and started pushing it away.
"No. This isn't the mommy firetruck." he said as he shoved the yellow truck aside.
"It's not?" Isaac asked.
"No. This is the mommy firetruck." he stated as he picked up the white one. "It looks more like mommy!" Isaac laughed at that. (Isaac told me later, he thought the boy had a point.)
"And this one," Jason said with a smile as he held out the yellow truck, "is the daddy firetruck."
He grabbed the two firetrucks and pushed them both toward "home."
