Monday Memories - Caught Red Handed

Last night, about a half an hour after the boys were in bed, I could hear them playing. It was obvious that both of them were out of bed.

I was in the middle of blogging, as I always do right after they get into bed, so I asked Isaac to go in to check on them.

Apparently I said it loud enough for the boys to hear.

By the time Isaac had made it into their room, Jason was on his bed pretending to be asleep, and Shawn was about half way into his bed.

When he saw that Isaac was standing there, Shawn also tried to pretend that he was asleep (mid way into his bed, mind you) and started to snore.

Isaac told them to get into bed because it was time to go sleep.

Suddenly, Jason "woke up" and called Isaac over.

"Dad, I have something to tell you."

"What's that, Jay?"

"I tried to tell Shawn that it was not time to get up yet. But he wouldn't listen." It was like he was trying to clear his own rule breaking by saying he was only out of bed to tell his brother to go to sleep.

We're not buying it mister. You sure did a lot of giggling for "just" telling Shawn to get back in bed.

After his reporting, he rolled over to go to sleep. Lol.

Isaac went over to check on Shawn and say goodnight. He was still pretending to be asleep, but his attempt at a cover up was pretty hard to buy as well.

He still had on his glasses!
