Kidbits: Our Life in a Series of Face Book Updates...

Alternately known as "Our Life in 420 Characters or Less..."

---

Every time Shawn sees my laptop open, he rushes over to "close the lid." Think he's trying to tell me something? :-)

---

Jason woke us up at 5:00 am this morning by screaming, "HELP ME, PLEASE!!!!" I ran in his room to find his blanket balled up in the corner of his bed. Um, yeah. This kid has drama oozing out of every pore--now even when he sleeps!

---

Shawn about twenty minutes into his nap that should have been but wasn't: "Get me outta here!" Can we say grump for the rest of the night? Because he SOOOOO was...

---

Jason just sang the ABC song all the way through with no mistakes! I about fell out of my chair. Not bad for 2 1/2 years old!

---

Cutting the boys' hair is a challenge, and dang it if their hair doesn't grow super fast. Jason is afraid of scissors, so that is out. Shawn won't let me anywhere near him with clippers, so that is out. There's no way they'd let someone else do it. What to do? Today we played it old school - pulled out my parent's Flow...bee! It worked! (Hey, don't judge.) No mess. Was quick. Doesn't look that bad, either. :-) Lol.

---

We just had a scene straight out of "It's a Wonderful Life." Jason's petal fell off of his flower that grandma gave him. He handed the flower to me and said, "Mommy, fix it?" His little face when he heard the news that I couldn't was so sweet. He was truly sad! :-) Now he just keeps handing me the petal and making me smell it.

---

How come time speeds up once the boys are in bed? Better yet, how can it possibly be midnight? Sigh...

---

Shawn is the BEST SNUGGLER in the world! My heart just melts when he hugs me and gives kisses. (insert contented sigh here)

---

Jason told my mom he'd text her later as we left her house this afternoon! I just about died with laughter. The funniest thing is that he didn't learn that phrase from me. Nope. I blame his dad for that one!

---

Proof I can't cook: It's just sad when your son takes a bite of what you've made & then asks to clean his tongue. Sad I tell you! Sigh.
