This picture of Jack in a box cracks us up. It looks a bit like Jack is missing part of his body, which is hilarious, because the box is really not very big! lol

Cute Big Boy Saturday - Construction Begins!
The boys started construction on their missions today. All the pieces are cut out and painted...tomorrow, they'll put it all together.

Friday Five -- Wait. Six!
The boys continue to plug along on their mission projects. Jason has completed his research, essay, and most of his typing. He has his bibliography, mission model, and speech to do. Shawn is about a day behind Jason. He's working on his last paragraph of his essay this weekend. All in all, they've both been very good about doing their work on this project each day.
Their projects are due on the 14th.
~~~
Meanwhile, Jack also received a project to do today. He has to think of a problem or a situation he might encounter and then think about what could be done to make the situation better or solve the problem. Then he has to build his invention...
His project is due on the 11th.
~~~
I think we are "projected" out at this point. Sigh.
~~~
The big boys did their first week of state testing this week. They tested on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They'll finish their testing next week.
~~~
The boys only have 5 more weeks of school! Woo hoo!
~~~
We have another round of crud going on this week. Jason came down with a cough on Wednesday. Shawn was feeling crummy by Thursday morning. He is now a dripping, miserable mess today. They made it through the week, but it was kind of iffy there for a minute.
Hopefully the break of the weekend will let everyone rest up and recover. Fingers crossed we don't share the germs with each other!
Mostly Wordless Wednesday
He could not wait to come in from outside so he could make some lemonade and orange juice. LOL!
Then he gave it all away to his brothers. He is clearly one who believes in the journey rather than the destination! :)
