Well, week two (week three for the boys) of our summer is in the books. It's going too fast!

We surprised the boys with a trip to Legoland this week; we actually just got home this evening. We didn't say a word about what was going on until we got there. So fun to surprise them like that!
And, as a bonus, their minds were BLOWN! Yay!

Speaking of Legoland, the boys really cracked me up this trip. While on a boat ride around the park, Shawn, who wasn't exactly sure of sitting in the boat, wailed, "I don't want to die!" right after it started moving. LOL. He mellowed out and enjoyed the ride after that, thankfully.
Jack, we have discovered, is a roller coaster man. The faster, the better.
Jason is a master builder! He designed a Lego car for a race and won! It really was a nice car. :)

Look at our artichoke bloom! We decided to let this artichoke go to flower because we have never seen one in bloom before. It is surprisingly beautiful!
Plus, in this picture you can see a little bee friend who was hanging out in the bloom. Pretty cool.

We keep working down our Summer Bucket List...we've already ticked off 5 different things. We've got a few more big things on the horizon, too!
