Craft Time
I've tried to incorporate a time into our day so the big boys and I get to do something fun. Each day we've done a little "craft" as I call them. We've done play-doh, cheerio projects, some beading projects, and stuff like that. It's nothing major, I just want us to do something...anything really...together.
Anyway, today's craft was painting. We had a lot of fun!
As we were painting, Jason spied what he wants our next project to use--googly eyes. He is most impressed by them. Now I have to put on my thinking cap and come up with something to do with them!

Both boys are deciding which color to use next.
Jason was all about the black today. Shawn discovered that the piece that held the paint came out of the plastic holder. He was lost in his work to separate the two after this.
See, mommy? Look at my pretty picture!
Shawn had then discovered that his water dish held water, so he was determined to spill it everywhere, so he didn't get another picture with his beautiful artwork. Hey, I've got to pick my battles. :-)
Here's the boys' work on the side of the fridge. Jason - left, Shawn - right

"He's a Cute Liddle Brudder!"
Tonight, the big boys were in the mood to love on their little brother. Shawn started things going by asking to hold Jack. Look at his face...
He was so excited to sit there with his little bro. (Is it just me, or does Jack's head look as big as Shawn's?)
Shawn had so much fun, Jason wanted to join in, too.
They're so proud of their little brother. It makes my heart so happy to see it. :-)

See, mommy? He's so cute!

I love holding, Jack, mommy!
But boy is he heavy!
Too cute!

Kidbits: Our Life in a Series of Face Book Updates... Part 8
Testament to Jack's love of Sophie: He has now mastered and mimics the sound of her squeak. It is too funny! (But it did give me a heart attack when I first heard him. lol. It took me a moment to figure out what he was doing!)

The boys were up before I was this morning. When I joined them in the living room, Jason tells me he had a chicken nugget. He found it in the kitchen and was quite proud of himself.
Um...
We haven't had chicken nuggets for about a week. Ew.
Thus prompted yet another discussion of not eating stuff we find on the floor...

I hate it when they poop in their sleep! It was so peaceful too...

Tank had his 4 month visit--18 lbs and 10 oz, 27.5 inches long (although I dispute that. I think he's 28 inches. Perhaps I should compromise and say he is 27.75 inches? Lol)
Plus he had 2 shots and an oral vaccine. It's looking like I am in for a long night already. Hope Tylenol works it's magic...

Just got worked by a three year old who didn't want to eat anything for lunch (for no reason except that it was NOT! WHAT! HE! WANTED!). It was either make him sit there until he ate something, which he was probably upset enough to throw up, or pretend the whole scene never happened.
I went with the latter. Parenting win. :-/

Ack! I am losing it. The big boys have been in bed for over 10 minutes, but fresh beat band is on the television. Worse is that I was singing along with it!

Someone really liked his cereal tonight. He ate two tbsp and then downed five ounces of milk for dinner. I swear he had a smile on his face as he drifted off to sleep! I do believe this one is going to rival his father when it comes to eating...

Still have my headache and had to go to target with the boys by myself. Was sure it was a recipe for disaster. Thankfully, I was again pleasantly surprised!

So I am told he wants a hamster and a gerbil. He swears he'll love 'em and pet 'em and feed 'em. Yeah right, kid. Not gonna happen. For the record, I have no idea WHY he wants a hamster AND a gerbil. Or where he heard about hamsters and gerbils for that matter!

Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, get your adverbs and Lollipops here!
**A Post by Isaac!
Absolutely and Positively, the Biggest and Most Colorful lollipops that Shawn and Jason have ever seen.
Let’s see what the boys thought.
They were Extremely excited to see the lollipops!
Evidently, there is more than one way to eat them.
Shawn ate his Slowly and Very Neatly.
Jason enjoyed his Quickly and Rather Sloppily.
Either way, the boys thought the lollipops were...
Really Scrumptious!
and
Indubitably Delicious!
Normally, the boys have a treat that is the size of a chocolate chip cookie.
Hopefully, they don’t think that this will be an everyday thing.
Surely not, right?
The boys would Especially like to thank “Uncle Damien” for the special gift and the Incredibly intense sugar rush. If they weren’t in a sugar coma right now, they’d thank you very Sweetly.
