Mr. GQ
This kid grew out of his jeans, so he had to get new ones for our upcoming pictures. He looked so cute! We had him do a little modeling for us while he was at it. lol

Night of the Jack
On Sunday we did Night of the Jack, which is a drive through Halloween experience. We were able to see thousands of carved jack-o-lanterns and scenes. The boys had a good time!
Sadly, what looked like amazing picture opportunities as we were driving through, look less like amazing picture opportunities at home and more like blurred messes. Oh well. I can only do so much. LOL. So, for memory's sake, here are some snaps of our adventure.

My Snuggler
He's like his mama in that he loves his bed. LOL. He also loves to make me come snuggle with him.
Can't beat snuggles with this kid!

Friday Five
The boys' first quarter of school ended last week. We are really just so proud of how well the boys did in their classes. They worked hard, and it shows!
~~~
We have something fun planned for Sunday. I can't say what it is yet, because the little people read the blog and would find out the surprise if I wrote it, BUT it is going to be so fun!
~~~
Our guys are going to be the big 13 in 11 days. How can that be?! They're growing too fast!
~~~
It was another warm week this week, so we spent a lot of time outside. Jack was the only one to swim, but both he and Shawn had a ton of fun throwing water balloons. (Thankfully, they weren't throwing them at each other, but I was the victim of a sneak attack yesterday!)
I do love being able to spend time outside with these boys. We'll all be so sad when it is time to put the pool up for the season.
~~~
We've decided we're going to forgo Trick-or-Treating this year, and we're not even going to dress up. Instead, we decided to take the money we would have spent on costumes and candy to hand out and do something different. Dad and I have been planning on some fun things we can do as an alternative.
It is a little bittersweet, though. It is quite plausible that this may be the last year the big boys would want to go out Trick-or-Treating. Beyond that, this time of year really is Shawn's favorite. He LOVES going door to door. I think it is going to be a lot of fun, so I hope that makes up for the disappointment. 🤞
