Friday Five
2 weeks until winter break! We are so counting down!

The boys had a sick day on Wednesday. Shawn wasn't feeling very well, and it was raining very hard on Wednesday morning. We decided that it just wasn't worth risking it. So we all stayed home! It was lovely. :)

We took our pictures last week, and the photographer already sent us our proofs. They are so good! The boys are getting so big, too. Love it!

Jack lost a tooth yesterday-another bottom molar. I think it was tooth number 11. He's like Jason and is losing all of his teeth super fast. Won't be long before he's lost all of his baby teeth.
The Tooth Fairy made a visit and brought Jack a nice note and a dollar coin.

We have more rain ahead for us this weekend. It's going to be so nice to snuggle up under some blankets and watch it fall.

What They're Reading
Shawn - Shawn's class is reading The Christmas Carol. So far he's on chapter 2, and Marley has just visited Scrooge to tell him the ghosts are on the way. So excited to see if Shawn likes the story. :)
Jason - Jay's finished The Hunger Games, and he's in a holding pattern while he waits for book 2 of the series to arrive. It's supposed to be here any time, so that's good, at least. Anyway, in the meantime he's re-reading Lemony Snicket's A Bad Beginning.
Jack - Jack had a goal of earning 35 AR points before the end of December. He's already met that goal! Now he's reading a different book a day for his silent reading time. Tonight's book is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Christmas Crafting
We started our first Christmas craft of the season -- macaroni Christmas trees!
We still need to paint them and decorate them. They're so cute!
