Shawn has been back to playing with his keyboard this week. It has been a while since he's played with it, but I was pleasantly surprised that he remembered a lot of the tunes he had learned how to play, even after all of this time. Isaac started teaching him a little Tchaikovsky, and he's been happily practicing ever since.

The boys had minimum days on Thursday and Friday due to parent conferences. It's been an intense week with colds, IEPs, and that kind of thing, so we are all ready for the weekend. Bring on some quiet!

We got a new mattress topper for our bed last week, and the old (CA king sized) topper has been sitting on the living room floor since then. The boys are LOVING being able to jump on it and flop down with their iPads on it. They're going to be so sad when I finally tell them it has to go. lol

The Winter Olympics opening ceremony was tonight. The boys thought it was pretty cool, especially all of the drones and the dancing. Jack even tried to dance along with them. Jason has been fascinated by the delegates as they walk into the arena. "Luxembourg only has one delegate, mom!" lol. He's also loving all the flags.

All three boys did book reports this week. Jack had to write about the beginning, middle, and end of the book he read. Shawn did a time capsule about his book. Jason ended up doing an A,B,C book about his book. They did such a good job! So proud of all of them!
