Disney Day 3 - Christmas Day

I've already shared the start of day 3 here. (Our woefully inept picture taking continued...still having too much fun to take pictures!) After we had breakfast, we headed back to DC to go to "The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure."
Shawn, Jason, and I in our clam shell.

Isaac and Shawn in their clam.

The star of the show. lol
Then we went on the "Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue" ride, which was by FAR Shawn's favorite ride. For some reason, neither of us took pictures of anything but Roz. We have 5 different pictures of her. Ha!

Roz even tried to pick up on Isaac. He sat in the middle of the car
by himself. She called to him and told him she was single, too. Wink, wink. LOL
We went back to Disneyland after that and went to Tomorrow Land to catch the Disneyland Railroad (the closest accessible station).

Sitting on the train.
Shawn and I were behind them and over a bit. lol
Jay wanted to ride on Autopia...

This is Jason driving in the car all by his lonesome!

Dad and Jack driving right behind him.
Meanwhile, Shawn and I hung out and saw some sights...

When everyone else caught up to us, it was time for a family shot...

I call it a success when we all look at the camera at the same time. Lol

4/5ths of the crew in all our glory. Ha!
After a while, we decided we'd head back to the hotel for a little shopping and R&R.

The boys loved this fountain located just outside the park.
Jason's car at Ride Makerz: Build Your Ride.
He was in HEAVEN in this place, which was essentially
a car version of Build a Bear. Lol

Later we went back to DC to ride "Toy Story Midway Mania." This was the only ride we had an extended wait for. We got fast passes for this ride at 12:30, but our time to report for the ride was between 8:00 and 9:00 pm that night!

And then did even more shopping!

(I have no idea where Shawn was at this point. He did not get a pic taken in the store. lol)

It was another fun day at Disney!

Disney Day 2 - Christmas Eve

Day 2 was Christmas Eve. We spent much of the day in Disneyland. Again I find that we didn't take nearly as many pictures as we normally do. Too much enjoying the day to stop for pics!

We started the day with room service: yummy pancakes, eggs, bacon, muffins, and fruit. Then we headed out to the park to watch the "A Christmas Fantasy" parade.

Jack and I waiting for the parade to start.

One of the floats.

Then we walked around and headed to our favorite ride, "It's a Small World" holiday.

We headed to Toon Town next...

Shawn wanted to meet Goofy, so here he is waiting in line.

Finally getting a chance to talk to him.

When we came around the corner, there was Pluto.
Of course we had to say, "Hi!" to him, too!

Even Jay said, "Hi!" to Pluto.

We went off to other attractions, too. We went to "Finding Nemo"...

And the Tiki Room...

We went on a few others while we were there. Most notably, we went to "Pirates of the Caribbean." (Sadly, no pictures of that. lol) While we were finding the accessible entrance to Pirates, we ran into a Cast Member named, Greg. Greg asked if we were interested in seeing "Fantasmic!" later that evening. Honestly, I hadn't thought that far ahead, but we told him sure. He said for us to meet him at a certain spot and he'd find us some seats.

Little did we know that the seats Greg was going to get us were VIP seats right next to the shows control station. We were front row and center!

How amazing is this view?!
Once the show was over, the Cast Member came to tell us that we'd be able to see the fireworks show from where we were if we wanted to stay. Well, of course we did!

The boys were blown away when it started to snow. LOL

Disney snow!

Snow on Jay's glasses.

He thought it was pretty cool.

We window shopped down main street and inside the stores. We splurged on popcorn and candy. We bought souvenirs! So much fun!

Disney Day 1

We started our trip to Disney on Saturday. We ended up arriving at the hotel at about 4:00 pm.

There were lots of cute Disney touches in the room. This was neat
because it played music while the fireworks lit up.

Jason familiarized himself with all the Disneyland Hotel had to offer. lol

Jack thoroughly inspected every inch of the place. Here he's testing
the firmness of the couch. It met his expectations. Ahem.

Shawn came right in and assumed his vacation position!

We checked out the room and then headed out to check out DC. We didn't have anything planned; we just wanted to get a feel for things and look at the sights for a bit.

We ended up working our way to Carsland...the holy grail for Pixar Cars lovers like Shawn. He wasn't in to riding the Radiator Springs Racers, so he and dad ended up exploring while Jason, Jack, and mom went on the ride.

Shawn checking out Stanley.
I tried to get a good shot of us on the ride, but that proved to be harder than you'd think. So...this is the best I got. I also took a shot of the picture the ride itself took of us, but I have been forbidden to put it on the blog. LOL.

Jack LOVED the ride. Jason LOVED that the ride was over. lol
I did manage to get the three of us together for a selfie before we left the area, though. :)

We realize now that we didn't take our usual number of pictures while we were there that day. We were too busy having a good time, I guess. lol. We only stayed at the park for a few hours before we headed back to the hotel where we treated ourselves with room service. Fun!
