Easter

This Easter we spent a quiet day hanging out around the house. The boys enjoyed their Easter baskets and had fun when we went out and looked for eggs. We had a simple dinner of steak, curly fries, fruit and chocolate cake. (We each picked something we liked and put it all together.) It was definitely not how we would have normally celebrated the holiday, but it worked for us this year. :)

Cute Big Boy Saturday - Dying Eggs!

Tonight we colored Easter eggs.

I think they did a great job, too. :)

We tried a new technique of tie-dying eggs.
We used food coloring and coffee filters. I think
they're really cool!

Jason created a few faces on the eggs.

Jack thought the egg emoji faces were pretty
awesome and went. to. TOWN with them. lol
He drew a few faces, too.

Last Day

Somehow, the last day of our vacation has come. We all go back to school/work on Monday. (We are evenly split between those of us who are ready to go back and those of us who are not. lol)

We had a relatively quiet vacation filled with staying up late and sleeping in. We played out in the back yard and got ourselves covered in dirt.

I think it was just what we needed. :)

I Just Don't Understand It

He won't eat chocolate, but you should have seen how excited he was to try a turnip. lol
