Friday Five

This week Jack lost his 4th tooth - the third on the bottom. It was actually a bit of a surprise that he lost the tooth he lost because I expected him to loose his second front, top tooth. That one, however, is hanging on for dear life. Now it looks like he has two more loose. Then we may be done with his teeth for a while.

Jay, on the other hand, has a loose molar.

Shawn isn't a fan of letting me play in his mouth. We probably won't know if he has any loose teeth until he puts a tooth in my hand. lol

~~~
Shawn is still on cold showers kick. I don't see how he can stand it, but it never fails that he asks me to make his bath water colder and colder until it is like he sits in ice. To each his own, I guess.
~~~

The other morning, Jack cut his index finger while trying to slice a lemon. I was still asleep when he came in telling me his finger hurt. I looked at his finger and saw blood. I asked him what happened. It wasn't until I realized he had a knife and a lemon in his other hand before I finally figured it out. Let me tell you, that is not the best way to be brought out of a deep sleep. Just saying.

~~~
Pun fun: The other day, while Jason was sitting, playing with his remote control mini car, he accidentally drove the car into his butt. "Look mom! I got rear-ended!"
It was a proud moment for sure. ;)
~~~

Shawn has become quite the helper around the house. If Isaac or myself start doing something, Shawn is right there in the middle of it, lending a hand. The funniest part is that he talks a mile a minute while he's working about anything and everything that enters his head. It's very entertaining. lol!

~~~
How can this be the end of the last full week of summer vacation?! It just flew by.
The boys start school on Thursday! Wow!
Summer Bucket List 2016 - Living Room Sleepover/Camp Out!
Last night we had our first ever Family Living Room Sleepover/Camp Out.
While the big boys were gone at therapy, I set up the living room.
I hung blankets from the ceiling to mimic a tent.
Another angle of the blanket tent.
I also pulled all of their mattresses into the living room so they covered the floor.
When they got home, they were so surprised. It really set the mood for the rest of the night.
We had a little popcorn snack. They even got to eat in bed this time!
Isaac had gotten some dollar store glow sticks and lanterns, which helped add to the ambiance.
They did a little rough housing, too. lol
We had a little pizza for dinner while we waited for it to get dark. Once it did finally get dark enough, we turned out the lights and let them play. I think this might have been Jack's favorite part.
Pretty soon, it was time to roast marshmallows to make s'mores. It was National S'mores Day, so of course we had to celebrate that. We put a little portable grill of Isaac's into the fireplace. It was perfect.
After dessert, we settled back into the dark for a new movie. We watched "Kung Foo Panda 2". It was a hit, too!
They all stayed up until about 10:30, which is really late for our crew. It was definitely a fun night for Team Lopez!
Mostly Wordless Wednesday
Jack was talking to me while I was cleaning up the living room. Next thing I knew, I looked over to see him like this...
The kid was out cold. Lol!
Summer Bucket List 2016 - The Fair!
We had a pretty awesome time at the fair today!
We started off in the collections room. All three of the boys thought this place was pretty cool.
Shawn was telling me all about the Ninja Turtle collection here.
This was definitely Jack's favorite spot in the room. lol
We walked around...
had a little snack...
and all three rode on some rides!
Jason and daddy went for a drive on the bumper cars.
Daddy thought Jason was an excellent driver!
Jack and Jay drove on some jeeps.
Wait! Is daddy on the ride with Shawn?
Nope! Shawn hit the road all on his own!
Jack also went on the bumper boats.
This was clearly his favorite ride of all. lol
We went into all the exhibits and looked around. I caught this shot as we walked into the craft exhibit. I can't tell you how much this picture of my boys makes me smile. :)
Owning the place right here. lol
Loving me twinsie kisses.
Little Model
He likes playing with my sunglasses. So of course he had to try on grandma's reading glasses when he saw them. I think he looks pretty great!
