Tooth on the Looth

Hey! What happened to your teeth?!

Jason lost his fourth tooth this evening! Although it was clear this tooth was loose also, Jason was not interested at all in the whole act of pulling the tooth any time soon. Thankfully, his tooth had other ideas and tonight, while eating dinner, out the tooth came.

Yea!

Right after dinner, he got busy creating his tooth box...

I can't wait for the Tooth Fairy to pay him a visit tonight. I hear she is bringing double coins for Jay because of his bravery for pulling his tooth out all by himself. ;)

Cute Big Boys Saturday - Lemon

The boys picked some lemons off of our tree. The obvious next step was to taste them. :)

Jack would have none of the whole lemon tasting thing. I couldn't even get the camera up to my eye before he'd throw the lemon and run. Smart boy, that one.

Shawn, however, was totally game to try his lemon.

Jason had no problem letting Shawn taste the lemon first. He'd rather gauge Shawn's reaction and then decide if he's interested in something. Much to my surprise, he, too, was game to try his lemon.

One-Two-Three! for Thursday

Jack's been counting for a while and can count to 20. (I'm so impressed with my genius boy. lol) This video is from last week. It doesn't really show off his mad skills, but it makes me smile nonetheless. :)



Isn't the part when he stares at his hands hilarious? It's like he's contemplating something pretty deep.

Mostly Wordless Wednesday - #3

Yesterday, while eating a piece of quesadilla, Jason was inspired to grab a hold of that loose tooth and yank it right out of his mouth.

It was a miracle, I tell you! That poor tooth has been loose for MONTHS.

He once again made himself a Tooth Fairy box,

He opted for the minimalist approach today--his name,
the 5 to represent his age, and two stars because he
hoped the Tooth Fairy would bring him double coins for
pulling his tooth out all by himself.
Obviously, the bottom of the box had to be painted red.

...put the box on the nightstand, and waited up as long as he could in the hopes of seeing the magical fairy herself. He lasted approximately 20 minutes. :)

When he woke up, he was excited to find the Tooth Fairy had not only left him a note telling him how proud she was of him for his bravery, but also because the Tooth Fairy did indeed leave him two whole gold coins!

Popsicle Fun!

We had some fun tonight. Jason lost his tooth! (post tomorrow) The boys celebrated with popsicles...

This was Jack's first Popsicle!
This was HUGE as the boy only wants waffles. lol

As you can tell, he LOVED it!
That thing was gone super fast.

Monday Moment - Rip

This evening Isaac had on a very old t-shirt that had several holes under the arms. He waited for just the right moment when, in a deliberate move, he ripped the sleeve right off of his shirt.

The boys, eyes wide from the shock of the action, laughed hysterically. They thought that was the. funniest. thing. EVER! lol.

Here's our littlest wearing daddy's sleeve on his head. He paraded around like this for quite a while!
