You Ask, and We'll See If They Answer

The boys are hilarious. They both say crazy things and have pretty fun imaginations. As much as I try to capture them and their personalities, I am sure that I am leaving things out that might be interesting.

So, I thought we'd try something different. Tonight, I am opening the floor up to you.

Have something you want me to ask the boys? I'll do my best to get them to answer your questions.

Want to ask one of us something? Go for it.

What do you want to know?

Ask away. :-)

Randomness from Tonight

  • Shawn tells me his favorite letter today is "C." When asked why, he said, "I like the letter C because I like it." Okie dokie.
  • Jason thinks Laurie Berkner sings like mommy. (Um, no she doesn't. Mommy does not sing very well.) Her CD has officially been named "the one that sounds like mommy."
  • Shawn likes to change the music in his CD player. When I ask him what he wants to hear he says, "Hmmm...let me think..." as if the choices have changed since the last time we went through the routine. Then, if I have the nerve to suggest something to speed up the process, he won't listen to it. It. Must. Be. HIS. Choice. Tonight, he settled on the Beatles.
  • Everything tastes better with sour cream. And ketchup. And chocolate. (not necessarily together)
  • Fruit snacks are the bomb.
  • Jason likes the electric guitar. He spent a good portion of the evening making us listen to a two second guitar riff on his Alphie toy. Lol.
  • I think Jack may be teething again. He sure was trying hard to bite poor Sophie's legs off earlier. Last time he did that, he had two bottom teeth the next morning.
  • I am trying to convince him that he doesn't really want to move into 12 month clothing already. He isn't listening.
  • Nick Jr. should never be able to change their television line up without my prior approval. They did not, in case you didn't know. Had they, they would have known not to mess with Bubble Guppies at 6 pm! I'm just saying.

Vocabulary Lesson

Smellsy [smel-zee]: noun The things that live between your toes: Mommy, look at the blue smellsies in my toes.

Related forms:
smell·sies, plural

Synonyms:
sock lint
toe jam

In case you were wondering, smellsies smell gross (according to the boys). They are also incredibly funny, especially when we find them on other people's feet.
