When you have pictures of them in the same pose, Jack really does resembles both of his big brothers. It's hard for me to see without having the other baby pictures!

You're Going to Think Bad News, Mister...

We've got a new phrase around these parts. Where do they learn these things?!

Getting the boys out of the car:

Boy: I've got some good news, and I've got some bad news.
Isaac: Oh really? And what is that?
Boy: The good news is that we're going to grandma's tomorrow.
Isaac: That is good news. What's the bad news?
Boy: The bad news is that we're home.

Ba dum dum.

Um...the little turkey. Sigh.

Overheard

Overheard while Isaac was getting the big boys ready for the bath:

Isaac: Um...what are you doing?

Boy: I'm tickling my penis.

Isaac: Why are you doing that?

Boy: Cuz I like it!

Ahem. Okie dokie. That's about all I have to say about that! :-)

Last week's winner is... Diane (it's a trifecta!) with "Tongue-in-cheek!" (She explained it this way: "...with Jack, he's been nothing but cheeks, till this little tongue came around...lol. So now he's all tongue-in-cheek!"

10 extra credit points heading your way, Diane!

Jack is all tongue-in-cheek!

Kidbits: Our Life in a Series of Face Book Updates... Part 9

It seems that this is the week for blowing my boys' minds. On the way home from grandma's, we had to wait for a train...carrying military tanks. 63 of them to be exact. Jason was in HEAVEN watching that thing go by. (Shawn and Jack, not so much. They both decided crying was more fun than watching. By the time we got through, I wanted to cry too!) Want to know how long a train takes to go by when it is carrying 63 tanks? Twenty five minutes. Yeah. Fun times.

Overheard from the bathroom where daddy is giving the bog boys baths: "I don't want to be squeaky clean. Cuz that means we have to get out!" lol. They're having a blast in there. :-)

Just went through a car wash with the boys. They are equal parts horrified and excited about the experience and fluctuate between saying we should never do that again and telling every dirty car they see to go get washed. Cracks me up!

Jack: What? I'm supposed to be able to roll front to back? Okay. Here you go! And one more time for good measure!

Me: which shirt should I wear? White or blue?

J: white.
Me: white?
J: white is right. Hey! That rhymes!

It's pretty cool to see those light bulbs go off. Not too shabby for a 3 year old!

My boys have taken to trying to spell everything. "f..f...f...fair. That starts with 'F' right, mommy?" Can you tell they have an English teacher for the mom? Lol.

On our way home from the fair. One boy is passed out. The other is rocking out to music on the radio. It was a good day!
